The Banyan Desktop App keeps a small amount of data on the local filesystem to store things like device certificates, log files, and configuration. While it's not normally necessary to look in this folder, our support team may ask you to share files with us for troubleshooting purposes.
The location of the folder depends on your operating system and which version of the Banyan Desktop App you have installed:
- On macOS, the data folder is $HOME/Library/Application Support/banyanapp.
- On Windows, the data folder is $HOME\AppData\Roaming\banyanapp.
- On Linux (requires Desktop App 1.4.1 and later), the data folder is ~/.config/banyanapp.
